In today’s world, with its ever-advancing technology, customers are more aware and more demanding of their rights. They expect service providers like Engineers, Technical Professionals and Contractors to be responsible and professional when carrying out their duties, by being open and above board.

As a result, it has become increasingly important for Engineers, Technical Professionals and Contractors to be aware of and to practice Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), as well as Corporate Governance and Business Ethics.

This course is handy for Engineers, Technical Professionals and Contractors who want to understand and better practice CSR, Corporate Governance and Business Ethics. Mastering all these will have a great positive impact on their work.

Trainer’s CV:

Mr.Lee Kwok Weng, B.Eng. (Mech.)(S'pore), M.Sc.(Ind.Eng)(NUS), DipBA(NUS), GradDip Mktg.(MIS), LLB(Hons)(Bucks), LLM(Lond), Barrister-at-Law, Advocate & Solicitor, Supreme Court of Singapore, Accredited Arbitrator & Mediator, MMIS, FIES, Honorary Legal Advisor, IES & SISO, is currently in private legal practice, running his own law firm. 

A well sought after speaker & trainer, Mr. Lee teaches law & related subjects in a number of tertiary institutions including CITI. He has been for many years an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Faculty of Business Admin, National University of Singapore, teaching Business Law in the MBA programme as well as a part-time lecturer in NTU, conducting courses on ethics amongst others. He specialises in Business Contracts, Negligence, Safety, Environmental, Information Technology, Intellectual Property and Engineering, Construction & Building Laws and Business Efhics. He is a very experienced lecturer and trainer and is well-versed in the technical field, marketing and management practice too.

 

Mr.Lee brings with him considerable industrial project and business development management experience, having worked as a project engineer with the Singapore Government Ministry and project manager in a leading Multi-national engineering and construction corporation serving the oil and gas industries onshore and offshore.
