Trainer’s CV:

Mr.Lee Kwok Weng, B.Eng. (Mech.)(S'pore), M.Sc.(Ind.Eng)(NUS), DipBA(NUS), GradDip Mktg.(MIS), LLB(Hons)(Bucks), LLM(Lond), Barrister-at-Law, Advocate & Solicitor (Retired), Supreme Court of Singapore, MMIS, FIES, Certified Project Manager (IES CPM Founding Member), Honorary Legal Advisor, IES & SISO, a senior lawyer, was in continuous private legal practice for almost 29 years running his own law firm before his retirement from legal practice.

 

He is a trained practising Mediator and had been a principal Mediator on the panel of the Singapore Mediation Centre for many years before he stepped down to conduct private mediation. He is also an accredited arbitrator.

 

A well sought after speaker & trainer, Mr. Lee teaches law & related subjects in a number of tertiary institutions including IES Academy. He has been for many years an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Faculty of Business Admin, National University of Singapore, teaching Business Law in the MBA programme. Mr. Lee was also an Adjunct Lecturer for many years in NTU & BCA Academy.

 

He specialises in Business Contracts, Negligence, Information Technology and Engineering & Building Laws. He is a very experienced lecturer and trainer and is well-versed in the technical field, marketing and management practice too.

 

Mr.Lee brings with him considerable industrial project and business development management experience, having worked more than 12 years as Designer, Engineer, Project Manager in the private & public sectors. Eventually before his switch to the legal profession, he was a Senior Project Manager in a leading Multi-national engineering and construction corporation serving the energy, marine, oil and gas industries onshore and offshore, managing numerous EPC projects.
